The liberT series handheld remote controls are available in 2 models, 'liberT' and 'liberT2'. This description is for the liberT model which does not include the ‘function’ (Fn) slide switch found on liberT2 which allows for controlling two independent receivers at location A and location B. Usually, controlling 2 seperate receivers would require two seperate remote control transmitters. liberT2 may be described as a ‘two-in-one’ remote control transmitter whereas liberT functions as a multi channel transmitter for remote controlling one companion receiver.
The liberT and liberT2 are otherwise identical, with each model available in a 2, 4, 6 or 8 button version.
The transmitter is powered by an internal high capacity lithium battery type CR2450 to provide months and even years of service to the transmitter before replacement is required. The actual duration of duty will vary depending on how often the transmitter is being keyed.
